Your diving license. In order to learn how to dive you need to complete the Open Water Diver course. This is the first and at the same time the most popular diver rating. Upon the completion of the course you will receive the certification recognized all over the world.

The course teaches you the rules of scuba diving, you learn about the dive equipment and its functioning and how to use dive equipment. You will learn how to plan and make safe dives and how to deal with emergency situations.

The course consists of 5 knowledge development segments, 5 confined water segments and 4 open water dives. Each of these three components plays an essential role in learning how to dive. However, thanks to using several sources of knowledge, such as a video, a manual, quizzes and instructor-led classes as well as the gradation of difficulty of presented knowledge the learning process should not be problematic at all. Once you complete the course you become a fully-fledged diver.

The OWD certification qualifies you to dive with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters (12 meters in the case of a Junior OWD certification), to participate in the selected specialty courses and in the Advanced Open Water Diver course.
Prerequisites: 15 years old (10 years old – Junior OWD), basic swimming ability and a good health condition.
Our dive center will provide the equipment needed during the course.
